Lower Manhattan Loft
New York

When the building was converted to residential use, the construction was poorly done; in addition, the master bedroom was sandwiched between two mechanical floors, rendering it unusable. This immediate problem was solved by creating an acoustically isolated bedroom. In addition, the entry was reconfigured as a more gracious area and place for the client's two pianos to nestle. All other finishes throughout the apartment were replaced to make a light-filled serene living environment.
